Frequently Asked Questions

Depending on where you are located, the battery may be shipped separately. Because batteries are classified under dangerous goods and hazardous materials, they cannot be shipped like a regular package and may cause you to receive it later than your eBike.

For any battery shipment inquiries, please feel free to get in touch with us by sending us an email at ebike@onesourcekw.com

To ensure optimal battery health it is recommended to:

  • Avoid storing the batteries in a hot environment. These batteries will do best to be stored in cooler or at room temperature.
  • Maintain the charge of the battery to be around 20%-80% at all times.
  • Utilize your battery at least once every month.

The Rook and the Colt are very similar bikes. The primary difference between the two lies in the frame geometry.

The Rook features a low step design which allows people to get up and above the downtube easier. The Colt on the other hand, has a classic diamond top tube which allows for more rigidity within the frame. Both bikes come equipped with the same components and accessories.

The Intelligent Regenerative Brake System charges the battery deactivating the motor energy and using the motor resistance as a dynamo to generate energy back to the battery.

Yes, it is possible using EIVA App (available in App Store and Google Play) and the feature of Bluetooth connection.

We recommend S/M 17.5” Frame for riders 5’2” – 5’7” and M/L 19.5” Frame for riders 5’8” – 6’6”.

The Smart Hub has 250W, a comfortable response to plane areas and low inclination slopes. The Power Hub has 1000W and it is prepared to be used for long travels and steep slopes.

The Std Batter is optimized to be used with Smart Hub and has 60 km of autonomy in one charge using Pedal Assist System (IPAS).

The Dual Battery is optimized to be used with Power Hub and has 80 km of autonomy in one charge using IPAS.

The Std Battery combined with Power Hub has 40 km of autonomy using IPAS and the Dual Battery combined with Smart Hub has 120 km of autonomy.

The Rayvolt Bikes counts with the ultimate technology. They include a Intelligent Pedal Assist System (IPAS) that measures the torque applied to the pedals as well as the crank rotary speed that provides a perfectly smooth power reducing the user muscle activity. The Intelligent Regenerative Brake System (IRBS) converts the torque into resistance using the wheel inertia to generate electricity and recharge the batteries.

In the backside of your “welcome letter” you will find an assemble manual (in the pedal box you can also find a multitool to help you assemble the bike). Or you can check out the video tutorials and the assembly manuals under the Support section at www.ebikeskw.com website.
